The Vilnius City Municipality plans to rebuild a part of Skroblų Street in Vilkpėdė. This street is practically a planned street in the courtyards of residential houses, where in many places there are no sidewalks, cars are parked in a chaotic way, many times on the lawn, the rain collection system does not work properly, many times it use this part of the street. for transit traffic. The section of Skroblų Street under reconstruction is located between Naugarduko and Žemaitės streets.

The street will be converted into a residential area, additional roundabouts will be installed

The project proposals establish that to normalize parking in the street adjacent to the road, 79 parking spaces will be designed, which will be installed in special lanes (when parking both parallel and perpendicular to the passage), eliminating the possibility of parking green.

Skroblų Street will be divided into two parts by stopping transit traffic at the house on Skroblų str. 15 in the north corner, where turning points (rings) will form at the end of the dead ends.

A sidewalk will be installed on both sides of the street, the rainwater catchment network will be renovated in the necessary places and the greenery will be renewed. It is also planned to reduce the speed to 20 km / h and establish road traffic regulations as residential areas.
