As T. Barauskas commented in “Gimtaja m”, he was not the only one in the municipality who had direct contacts with the mayor, but he was the only one who had not been vaccinated, therefore, according to the regulations, only he needs to be isolated.
“I had contacts with the mayor on Monday, because I am not vaccinated, I am constantly testing. I did the tests on Monday, Thursday, they were negative. When it became clear that COVID got sick, the mayor also took the test on Friday. I hope this time the test is negative, because I feel good, I work remotely from home ”, said T. Barauskas.
T. Barauskas should spend two weeks in isolation. If the test results are negative next week, 10 days will be sufficient. So far, the district municipality is working in contact form and has no intention of returning to teleworking.
According to T. Barauskas, the covid situation in our district is still not bad compared to other municipalities.
“What worries me the most is the situation in schools with high flows of students. So far, there are three classes of students in the district, but it is not clear what the next one will be like, ”the deputy mayor worries.
