Of course, Irena Šakalienė, a port city official, found herself in a curious situation. The trial court recently ordered the demolition of a two-story building built on the official’s lot. Surprisingly, there is an inscription hanging on the plot announcing that the bridge is being repaired here. Where does it lead and which shores does it connect? Even I. Šakalienė’s former boss was interested in that.
Bridge – nowhere?
The plot of I. Šakalienė, Head of the Municipal Management Department of the Klaipėda Municipality, and her two daughters, located on K. Donelaičio Street, are in a unique location, right next to the Sculpture Park.
The booth hanging on the edge of the plot really raises questions. The sign that decorates the fence of the official’s territory announces incredible ambitions: it is written that the bridge is being repaired here.
The warning appears to be directed at asylum seekers so that strangers do not enter private property.
The warning hanging on the fence is intended not only for pedestrians, but also for drivers, as it draws a traffic sign that prohibits pedestrian and wheel traffic – the so-called brick and crossed-out pedestrian.
The portal klaipeda.diena.lt asked I. Šakalienė several times by email what bridge he was building, where it would lead him and where the official promises to walk with him, but she received no response.
An attempt was made to ask whether I. Šakalienė specially ordered and produced such a warning sign. It was also asked where the official could have obtained it, since the inscription indicates that said stand is intended to warn of the bridge repairs.
You will not buy such a stand with such an inscription in the supermarket, you should probably order it from an advertising company.
Editorial requests were submitted by the heads of the City Management Department by email.
I. Šakalienė’s colleagues were also asked if the head of the department is working these weeks and if she reads the email. She makes sure that the clerk is working, but she decides which queries to answer and which to ignore.
He doesn’t blame the robbery
When asked what thoughts arise when looking at such a post that decorates the official’s fence, Klaipeda Council member Nina Puteikienė did not control her laughter.
“Now it is becoming increasingly clear to me how perhaps city property is disappearing. One such city property is also the pedestrian bridge everyone was looking for. It’s not just the bridges or the signs that are disappearing. N. Puteikien<2FEMININE> expressed her opinion on various phenomena.
The councilor recalled the scandalous temporary bridge over the Danube, whose residual value was 137.6 thousand. euro, history.
This bridge was built while the Castle Bridge was being repaired.
“The temporary bridge evaporated from the storage location. I don’t know where it evaporated, maybe the kites took it away? History is more than the history of acquiring a property. We all acquire a property like? At clear and very defined prices. But here I.Šakalienė, in my opinion, acquired that property at a price difficult to define and very low. ours “, N. Puteikien― expressed her opinion on the history of the acquisition of the parcel examined in court.

However, the politician assured that I. Šakalienė herself does not accuse or suspect any crime in any way.
“Or maybe the table was canceled? Where did it come from? The official has to explain whether citizens may have questions about it. This is an obscene story,” N. Puteikienė suspects.
Only the word should be changed
Liudvikas Dūda, the former head of the Klaipėda Municipality City Department of Economics, really knows how many and which bridges in the port city have been repaired before, but after hearing the question about the bridge repair post, he also started laughing. .
Maybe you didn’t even see it yourself? Maybe she asked for something, brought it in and hung it up?
“No. Well, maybe he couldn’t get it out of there. All the signs are unified. There really haven’t been such constructions there lately. The signs can be purchased from private companies,” if you don’t want pedestrians or carriers to walk. ” , L. Dūda initially suspected.
However, when asked how the former subordinate’s private property is marked with a sign that may have decorated the bridge repair site, L. Dūda was upset.
“Is there such a text written there indicating that the bridge repairs are being carried out?” – As if he couldn’t believe, asked L. Dūda.

For the city’s former top economics expert, the situation really came as a surprise.
“I don’t comment on that anymore. I don’t know here anymore. How do people manage to do that? Why put such unconscious notes? What’s the bridge here? Maybe the word should be changed.” Home repair “instead of” bridge repair “works. So why cheat? I don’t know what to say. I sympathize with her. Something happened one more time,” said L. Dūda.
Wanted attention
The former head of the City’s Department of Economics raised his version of how a booth with such an inscription could have been found in I. Šakalien tra’s plot.
“Apparently it was out of date in some area. But maybe it would be silly to put up a sign like that. Maybe he didn’t even see it himself? Maybe he asked for something, brought it in and hung it up.” – considered L. Dūda.
However, recalling that the properties and estates of I. Šakalienė are not the first time that the prosecution and various other services are interested, but the court of first instance ordered to request a restitution for the sale of part of the state lands, L. Dūda wanted the attention of his old colleague.
“Well maybe you shouldn’t get any more attention. So you don’t get stuck anymore. You should focus on the woman,” L. Dūda advised.
Instructed to demolish
Klaipeda Regional Court on September 7. completed a civil case in which the Attorney General’s Office, defending the public interest, had filed lawsuits against the National Land Service, the Klaipėda City Municipal Administration and Donelaičio Namai and three natural persons for invalidation of purchase and sale agreements of state lands and other related claims.
The court ruled that the two-story building with an attic built on the land of I. Šakalienė and his two daughters must be demolished and the land must be repaired.
The court determined that the two state land acquisition agreements were invalid, so restitution was ordered.
The decision of the regional court can also be appealed to the Lithuanian Court of Appeal.
