Do we have favorites? Milaknis and Goudelock in the KMT sniper competition

So far, Kaunas “Žalgiris”, who sent young or less likely players to the competition, have behaved differently this year: the Verdiblancos will be represented by Artūras Milaknis. Titled as one of the best European snipers of the last decade, Žalgiris sells 41.7 percent of the three-point points in the Betsafe-LKL precision championship (30/72 trit.).

In addition, in Tuesday’s game against Kėdainiai “Nevėžis-Optibet”, A. Milaknis became the player who scored the most 3-pointers in the history of the national championship. His account includes 845 accurate shots from a distance.

A player who has been invited to the competition should have some serious competition for a Kaunas veteran for the best 3-point shooting percentage. The host team, Panevėžys Lietkabelius, will be represented by Marius Valinskas. The 21-year-old defender, though he doesn’t have much playing time, notices every second of long pitch (50 percent, 9/18 trit.). You can give advice to your brother Paulius, who has appeared in this competition representing both Žalgiris and Lietkabelius.

Brankas Mirkovičius became the representative of Pasvalys’ Milk Stars. This veteran will be the main participant in the competition, he is 38 years old, but he is the one who has thrown the most three points among all the snipers in the competition – 91. Of these, the Serbian scored 42 shots, so his success rate is solid: 46.2 percent.

Prienai CBet striker Mindaugas Sušinskas became the top participant in the competition. The 204cm tall basketball player is one of the most accurate snipers in the league, hitting 48.9 percent. (43/88 trit.).

Klaipėda “Neptūnas” sends Evaldas Šaulis to fight for the title of best pitcher. The owner of almost the most suitable last name for this competition returns three points to 44.2 percent. precision (23/52 trit.).

Justas Tamulis became the deputy sniper in Nevėžis-Optibet. This player’s success is the worst among all contestants: 22.4 percent. (13/58 trit.), But this can give a false impression. During his career in the Lithuanian championships, J. Tamulis shot long shots by almost 38 percent. accuracy and therefore should not be canceled in advance.

The sniper competition will take place on February 14, before the final Citadele KMT match. Žalgiris, Neptūnas, Lietkabelis and Juventus will compete for the winners trophy in Panevėžys.
