Walking or cycling along the track will be diversified by 7 information stands with photographs that remind us of antiquity. They will help you learn about the natural and cultural heritage of the Šventoji Highlands, learn interesting facts about the history of HPP Antalieptė and the lagoon, reveal the secrets of the islands and the biodiversity of the lagoon, tell about the “lost lakes” and the fate of ancient peoples. The tree trunks marked on the 10.5 km route will facilitate navigation.
You can admire the landscape of the lagoon from the observation deck at the beginning of the trail. Well, and in the village of Blėkiškės, an exceptional attraction awaits you: an independent transfer by pontoon ferry through the narrowest place in the Antalieptė lagoon.

Places of interest in the Zarasai district
Zarasai Review Circle. A breathtaking panorama of the lake opens from the unique building in Lithuania over Lake Zarasas. The height of the observation wheel is 17 meters and the diameter is 34 meters. From the observation wheel you can descend to the shores of the lake. The 1.5 km long walk around the coast will take you to the Big Island, admiring the sculptures along the way.
The Big Island, which occupies up to 44 hectares, is one of the largest islands in Lithuania. It is a place for exclusive events and festivals, attractive for lovers of active recreation. It has a recreational infrastructure and the longest water boarding track and trampoline park in the Baltic States.
Dusetos Art Gallery Cultural Center. The Dusetos Art Gallery Cultural Center organizes art and photography exhibitions, plein airs, symposia, informational publications and art albums. Classical and popular music concerts, creative evenings, films and performances are organized here. The exhibitions of artists from the Dusetos region are especially popular.

Tiltiškės water mill – museum. In the old Tiltiškės water mill, Šventoji spun a mill, floured, cut boards. The first electric light bulb in the Zarasai region was also lit here, it was a mill that produced electricity.

Unsurprisingly, the Energy Museum used to operate here. Today, this beautiful water mill is worth visiting for the radio museum located here. Most of the museum is occupied by a collection of more than 300 old radios. The mill organizes excursions, cultural events, meetings, discos and tastings of local products.
Salako St. Church of the Virgin Mary Sopulinga It is 72 years old, the tallest stone church in Lithuania with neo-Gothic features.

It enchants with its majesty and massiveness. Perhaps because it is not uncommon for a huge gray carved stone building to stand out so brilliantly from the local landscape. Huge stones were transported for its construction from all over Salak parish, and people spared no effort to build it. One of the largest lakes in Lithuania, Luodis, is located nearby, and its shore is connected to other Salakas attractions by the Salakas Cognitive Path.
Stelmužė oak, church and bell tower. The Stelmužė oak is a natural monument in Lithuania, one of the oldest oaks in Europe and the oldest and thickest tree in Lithuania.

It is estimated to be over 1,500 years old. The oak is 23 m. height, 3.5 m. the diameter is 13 m. volume to the ground (it takes about 13 people of average build to cover the trunk). Next to it is a St. Church of the Cross, built in 1650. the then lordship of the manor, Folkerzambo. The church, with its classicist characteristics, has a wooden altar and a pulpit decorated with wood carvings. The decoration has many vegetal and figurative motifs, reliefs and round sculptures. In the western part of the cemetery there is a bell tower of harmonious proportions, built in the 17th century. in the middle.

Until September 30. Visit the 25 most interesting and exclusive sights of Aukštaitija recommended by the organizers of the game and mark them on your smartphone. A souvenir from the Lake District will be waiting for everyone who has, and one lucky person will deliver it to you. The main prize in the game is a hot air balloon flight over the Lake District for two!
