Tel Aviv’s Maccabi (1/1) team suffered an unexpected and painful failure in the Euroleague.

Israel club at home 63:75 (10:20, 17:15, 10:19, 26:21) landed in the Crvena Zvezda team (1/1) in Belgrade.

The Serbian team started the match with a 10: 0 thunderbolt and thus set the tone for all matches. Later, the hosts melted the difference a bit, but the one that soon returned to the double-digit limit.

Former Žalgiris Nate Wolters has broken into the Belgrade squad. The American scored 17 points (4/7 two points, 3/4 three points) in 26 minutes, bounced 3 and took 2 balls, made 4 assists, made a mistake once, committed 2 times and scored 19 utility points.

Crvena Zvezda won the fight for the ball 32:25 and forced opponents to shoot a two-point goal with just 37 percent accuracy (11/30).

Belgrade will host guests from Lithuania next week – Kaunas “Žalgiris” will open a double Euroleague week in the Serbian capital.
