Monday, around 7 p.m. 45 minutes ago, in Kaunas, Savanori Avenue, unknown people, using violence, boarded a man (born in 1996) in a BMW X5 car and took him in an unknown direction.
The victim was found and the suspects were detained.
The incident is under investigation.
Arrested in the morning
Kaunas police reported that after intensive search operations, a young man was found in the Kaunas district in the morning. Five men (born 1990, 1958, 1988, 1993 and 1995) who had previously been convicted of various crimes (robbery, robbery, crimes against public order, etc.) were detained in Lithuania and abroad. the victim is also convicted.
Four people are residents of Kaunas City and Kaunas District, one person has declared his departure to a foreign state.
There is currently no data available on whether the detainees were known to the victim.
A pre-trial investigation into this event has been launched in accordance with article 146 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, regarding the illegal deprivation of liberty. This is punishable by up to four years in prison.
