“The so-called bottle with Novičiokas, well, more precisely, a simple plastic water bottle, in which traces of poisonous combat substances were later found in a German laboratory.” This is a bottle from the Tomsk hotel room, where Navalnas himself and our entire film crew stayed, “the report says.

As noted, members of A. Navaln’s team took the bottle away after it was reported that he suddenly felt ill on a plane flying from Tomsk to Moscow. They had gone to the hotel with a lawyer.

Almost immediately, the Navalno Anti-Corruption Foundation staff, who remained in Tomsk, learned of what had happened. “It just came to our knowledge then. They called a lawyer, went up to the room that Navaln had just left and began to search, describe and pack everything they found there. Also the hotel water bottles,” the report says .

“Two weeks later, the German laboratory found traces of Noviciok on a bottle of the Tomsk edition. And then, three more laboratories that took samples from Alexei confirmed that Navaln had been poisoned by him (Novičioku). Now we understand: this was done before he left his number and went to the airport, “the report says.

A video was posted on Navaln’s Instagram account showing anti-corruption fund staff and lawyers arriving at the hotel room.

The Interfax news agency has no information from official sources on this matter.

Russia’s most prominent opposition politician, Navaln, felt bad last month on a plane flying from Tomsk, where he had gone to investigate corruption and promote his “smart vote” campaign against regional elections.

After a plane landing, the 44-year-old politician was taken to the Omsk city hospital and transferred to a Berlin clinic a few days later.

On September 2, German officials, based on the findings of the country’s military laboratory, announced that traces of poison from the group of nerve paralyzing substances “Novičiok” were detected in the body of A. Navaln. Material from the same group, according to London, poisoned former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury, England in 2018.

Navaln’s colleagues believe that the use of this banned chemical weapon shows that only the Russian state can be responsible for the poisoning.
