After hearing the voice of an unknown man, not his neighbor, with whom he was friends, V. Anuprevičius did not get angry.

He said he was waiting at an agreed location where he was to find out about the relationship with the stranger when he saw the two people approaching him.

He stated that he opened the car window, pulled out the barrel of the rifle, and warned strangers out loud that he was armed. Virginijus Mizaras, the prosecutor of the Kaunas Regional Prosecutor’s Office, who supported the defendants in the case, offered the court to sentence V. Anuprevičius to 13 years in prison for the murder.
