In the Euroleague, Fenerbahche Istanbul (15-6), who are sweeping everyone in a row, are not as confident in the local championships.
Points are earned this season
Igor Kokoshov’s pupils at home 81:84 (19:20, 22:19, 22:15, 18:30) landed on the Bursa basketball players “Tofaš” (12-9). This was Fenerbahche’s second failure in the Turkish league in the last three games.
Edgar Ulanov did not register for this duel due to the legionnaire limit.
The Istanbul team were not spared by a productive performance from Nando De Colo. The Frenchman scored 24 points in 29 minutes (3/6 doubles, 3/5 trit., 9/10 penalties), made 4 assists, bounced 4 balls, caused 7 fouls, but made 10 errors and scored 16 utility points.
Marko Guduričius scored 45 seconds from the basket and put Fenerbahce ahead (81:80), but Muhsin Yasar noticed the penalties, and 13 seconds later DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell took the ball from above and Tofash led 84: 81.
After Kokshkov’s one-minute break, De Colo still hit a 3-pointer to equalize the score and start extra time, but the Frenchman’s shot was inaccurate and Tofash celebrated the victory.
