Jonas Valančiūnas, along with the Memphis Grizzlies (2-5), rose to victory, and the flashy duo of the Los Angeles Lakers (6-2) settled their affairs in the square.

Taking the initiative, LeBron James and Anthony Davis scored 15 points in a defining moment and beat the California club to victory. 94:92 (19:24, 26:25, 22:19, 27:24).

Later, Valančiūnas was replaced by De’Anthony Melton, after which Davis scored both penalties: 90:83. After Brooks fell from distance, James added two more accurate free throws and the NBA champions marched for a fourth straight win – 92:83.
LeBron contributed to Kyle Kuzma’s final points with a successful pass – 94:89.
James scored 26 points in 34 minutes (10/16 two, 1/4 trit, 3/3 penalty), bounced 11 balls, had 7 assists and made 6 errors.
Davis has 26 points (6/10 doubles, 4/10 trit., 2/3 penalties), 10 rebounds and 3 interceptions, 4 assists, 3 blocks and 4 errors.
Valančiūnas, who recorded the seventh consecutive double-double, played 25 minutes, scored 13 points (4/12 double, 0/1 trit., 5/5 penalty), bounced 11 balls, made 2 assists and lost 4 balls.
