The Tenerife team started the match better, and the Catalans took a while to overcome their opponents. The game ended 2 minutes (79:79).
The teams exchanged precise shots, and with 8 seconds remaining in the game, Gabriel Lundberg led the Tenerife club forward with a two-point foul. Just five seconds later, the former Žalgiris responded at the same time Brandon Davies.

Iberostar still had three seconds to escape, but Frano Guerra’s final shot was not accurate. Davies, however, was fouled and the Spaniard’s precise free throws brought victory to the Tenerife club.

B. Davies played a powerful game: in 26 minutes he scored 20 points (8/12 two-point, 1/4 three-point, 1/1 free throw), bounced 11 balls, and scored 24 utility points.
Barcelona knew before the match that they would take first place in the group, so in the first part of the match they gave opportunities to the youngsters and did not use the services of Nikola Mirotičius at all.
The Group A barrier was overcome by Barcelona’s Baskonia and Vitoria, now waiting for their rivals in the semifinals.
