Luigi Datome completes his five-year stint in Istanbul. Sportando journalist Emiliano Carchia announces that negotiations between the 32-year-old Italian and Fenerbahche to end the contract are coming to an end and that he will soon join the AX Armani Exchange in Milan.

The Turks should officially announce this soon. The native Italian team offers the basketball player a long-term contract.

Joining Fenerbach in 2015, Datome won several titles: he once won the Euroleague, won the Turkish Super Cup twice, and triumphed in the local Turkish league three times.

On top of all that, he became the Most Valuable Player of the Turkish Championship and Super Cup and was twice recognized as the most useful player in the Turkish Cup. In 2016, the Italian striker was chosen for the Euroleague second team.

Datome played an average of 22 minutes in the Euroleague last season, scoring 8.3 points, rebounding 3.4 balls and making 1.3 assists.
