The businessman Tadas Karosas managed in court that the STI will have to reconsider the decision on 0.87 million. In the administrator’s opinion, a formal loan operation with related companies is paid in euros, interest and penalties on the amount of money he has to pay. The Supreme Administrative Court ruled that the STI did not duly comply with its duty to substantiate the tax amounts calculated for the taxpayer. The STI notes that the court has held that the main objective of the executed transactions was to obtain a tax advantage. When executing a judicial decision, the State Fiscal Inspection will change the jurisprudence.
