The NBA Summer League will take place this year from August 8-17 in Las Vegas.

Dainius Adomaitis, a former strategist for the Lithuanian national team and Vilnius Morning, will work as an assistant for the Denver Nuggets. The club will start a five-day camp tomorrow, where 21-year-old Arnas Velička will sweat and then a flight to Las Vegas.

This is the first time in the career of 47-year-old D. Adomaitis that he will have to part ways in the Summer League.

The Denver club will play at least four games in the tournament, against the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics, the Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks.

Adomaitis has not been working since April 9, when, just after four unsuccessful months in Israel, he broke up with the Jerusalem Hapoel team.

At this year’s Summer League, we will see Vilnius Morning assistant Gusta Maskoliūnas, who will be an intern for the New York Knicks.

In addition to A.Velička, the Lithuanian basketball team will consist of Arnoldas Kulboka (Charlotte Hornets), David Sirvydis (Detroit Pistons), Rokas Jokubaitis (New York Knicks) and Ignas Brazdeikis (Orlando Magic ”).
