According to A. Veryga, due to the increasing number of infections, the system has not yet rebooted.
“Hospitals have not yet been overcrowded, except in cases where it is not due to overcrowding, but to infected staff. In Kaunas, only one near-infectious hospital is full. And, as far as I know, we talk with other institutions and organize processes where more patients can be helped. But on the Lithuanian scale, if I’m not mistaken, we have about 40 percent. the so-called Covid reserve beds. This is not an overload of the system ”, commented the minister.
