In the NBA game in Oklahoma, between the local Thunder and the Atlanta Hawks, there was an extremely unusual situation in basketball: During the long break, the Thunder players changed their uniforms for completely different clothing at the request of the league.

Due to a misunderstanding in the first half of the game, both teams played in very similar clothing: the Hawks wore a red jersey and the Thunder basketball players wore orange uniforms.
This has especially prevented spectators from watching the game on television.

The NBA asked for a jersey change, but the Hawks had no other team. As a result, the Thunder played white in the second half of the game.
The NBA distributes what outfits basketball players will wear before making a season schedule. Initially, the team is chosen by the team that plays at home and then the club that comes to the game.
The league verifies this more than once, but this time during the apparel approval process, NBA representatives in very similar apparel crossed their eyes.
This system is introduced from the 2017-2018 season. According to the NBA, this is the first time in 4,000 games that a mistake has been made.
“It seemed strange at first, but it didn’t make much of an impact,” Thunder leader Shai Gilheous-Alexander said of the similar clothing worn in the first half of the game.

Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce and Thunder helmsman Mark Daigneault said they didn’t notice the similarity in the clothes.
“I really didn’t realize it and didn’t even think about it, we just responded to the league’s request,” Daigneault said.
The Hawks won 118: 109.
