Former NBA basketball player Delonte West has been homeless in recent years and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is trying to reach him.

The Mavericks owner confirmed to ESPN that he had taken West from a gas station in Dallas and was trying to help him.
TMZ, citing its sources in nearby West, announces that the former basketball player’s relatives are trying to persuade him to go to a rehab center, and Cuban has offered to pay for treatment.
Cuban is one of several NBA-related people who have tried to help West in recent years. The former basketball player himself has publicly revealed about his bipolar disorder.
Cuban tried to help West again after photos were distributed last week of West begging on the streets of Dallas.
West, 37, averaged 9.7 points in the NBA over his eight-year career and gave 3.6 assists per pass. He played in the last NBA season in 2011-2012, defending the Dallas Mavericks.
