In the United League, the final series had reached a decisive point and the third match had a lot of intrigue, especially after the big break.

Moscow CSKA at home 89:81 (29:24, 23:16, 25:26, 12:15) broke Kazan’s recovered team “Unics” and won the champion title. CSKA won the series 3: 0.

The playwrights MVP recognized Daniel Hackett.

In three halves, the Moscow team gained an advantage and became solid, but then began to crumble: 71:54. Unics started the fourth quarter with 9 consecutive points (75:77), but Tornike Shengelia finally stopped CSKA’s points lack after 79 minutes – 79:75.

Now that the visitors’ attacks have stalled, Will Clyburn got it right (81:75), then added another three points and increased the lead – 84:75. With almost 3 minutes to go, Nate Wolters narrowed the lead (77:84), it was his points that still allowed the Kazan club to stay in the fight.
