In the last days of October, two cases of Covid – 19 were diagnosed in patients at the Jonava Hospital and one case in a doctor. On November 2, it is announced that an outbreak will be registered at Jonava Hospital: procedures at the institution and visits will be canceled.

Please follow the information and only contact the Reception – Emergency Department in case of emergency. Procedures and visits are canceled. Be patient, responsible and understanding! ”Announces the administration of the Jonava Hospital.
The report indicates that as of November 2, COVID is positive for 10 employees who are in isolation and will not return to work as of November 3. Some of them are asymptomatic, some feel symptoms, but none need medical help, they are treated on an outpatient basis.
Jonava Hospital emphasizes that due to pre-planned patient visits to specialists, outpatient staff must contact patients. In the next few days new actions will be decided in the institution and visits to doctors. The situation at Jonava Hospital is still under control. At this stage, all possible contacts are investigated and the institution will report on all decisions made publicly in the near future.
