Unfortunately, until now it has been said that it is not possible to obtain more data without the consent of the family.
This is the second person who died of a coronavirus before the age of thirty, and whose life was extinguished in the Kaunas clinics. The first COVID-19 victim at this age was reported on December 10.
The coronavirus also claimed the life of a woman under the age of 30 in Panevėžys.
On Thursday, the Department of Statistics also announced the death of a person belonging to the age group of 30 to 39 years. We haven’t been able to find out more about this person yet.
In total, there are currently 11 deaths in the 30-39 age group.
According to Statistics from Lithuania, the majority of coronavirus deaths are currently in the age group of 80 to 89 years. 758 people of this age died.
COVID-19 also claimed the lives of 560 people between the ages of 70 and 79.
344 coronavirus deaths were between the ages of 60 and 69.
195 people died of coronavirus between the ages of 90 and 99.
The 50-59-year-old group included 169 people who died from the infection.
The 31 deaths from COVID-19 ranged in age from 40 to 49, and 5 people were over 100.
In total, the coronavirus killed 990 women and 1,085 men in Lithuania. There have been 30 deaths in the last day: 15 men and 15 women each.
