On Saturday evening, the people from Žalgiris who won the Mytiščiai stadium in the Moscow suburbs moved to the airport immediately after the match and flew back to Vilnius on a charter flight, where all members of the delegation were screened for COVID-19.
On Sunday morning, “Žalgiris” received a response that all the test results of the team members are negative.
Žalgiris played in Russia without midfielder Joffrey Lauvergne, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.

Isolated in Kaunas and not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, J. Lauvergne conducted additional tests on Friday and Saturday. Both tests were negative.
After receiving two consecutive negative COVID-19 test results, Kaunas Žalgiris will request the responsible authorities that the results of J. Lauvergne’s first test be recognized as erroneous and the midfielder can terminate the self-isolation process.
