Trouble-free tours of the Euroleague will soon be a thing of the past: coronavirus cases have been detected in two tournament clubs.
Two tests came back positive on the AX Armani in Milan. Both players were isolated and additional tests were performed on the rest. The team is preparing for a match against Sasario “Dinamo”.
COVID-19 was detected in the Milan team in late summer, and later in autumn, so these diseases can be considered the third wave of the club.
The infected people also appeared in the ranks of Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade. In Serbia, the situation has hardened: the club has been suspended, the match against Cedevita Olimpija from Ljubljana has been canceled and all players have undergone additional tests and will allow isolation time until negative results are received.
The Serbian club is expected to play Zenit St Petersburg on Tuesday, but the match has been in the dark.
