Identified a possible cause of the outbreak.

According to Liucija Jasevičienė, director of the Usėnai Basic School, the coronavirus was registered in four classes and a preschool group.

“All teachers are vaccinated with two doses, except for one teacher who was vaccinated once. At the end of the summer, there was a series of cases (coronavirus – ELTA) in our settlement, and when the children arrived at the school, the teachers gathered and simply brought them in without feeling any symptoms, ”said the school principal. the outbreak may have occurred.

According to L. Jasevičienė, the first week from September 6 to 10 was tested twice, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

“More than 50 percent agreed to take the test. Parents of students. We are currently receiving more applications, the number of people willing to test is increasing. I don’t know what to adjust, we keep all the necessary conditions, we separate the flows and everything The rest. Classes are small, students sit in classrooms, teachers go to them, disinfect and ventilate. What if you bring it back (virus – ELTA)? Now, for example, when we sit at home, we don’t know if they are getting infected.

In isolation, there are those classes in which there have been cases in which all the other children can communicate freely. Because there are cases of (coronavirus – ELTA) in the settlement, anything can happen. We will continue testing with rapid self-control tests, we will measure the temperature, ”said the director.

L. Jasevičienė mentioned that there are some parents who do not want their children to be tested. “Those who disagree, we don’t test them, we don’t have any rights. The tests are advisory in nature, we can’t do anything else, just speak beautifully, test it and do everything we can to test as much as possible, “said the director.
