The court plans to announce the decision on Monday, as it was not possible to write it on Friday, judicial representative Audris Kutrevičius informed BNS.
Mr. Žukauskas appealed to the court against the decision of the Police Department to deprive him of the right to work with confidential information and to remove him from his post. At his request, the case was heard behind closed doors.

The Police Department stated that during the inspection it was established that D. Žukauskas’s personal qualities, behavior and relationships with certain persons raise reasonable doubts about their trustworthiness.
In early October, Mindaugas Baršys, who until now had been Marijampolė County Police Chief, took over as head of the Kaunas County Police Station.
