A € 10 entrance fee will reportedly be applied for a passenger car from May 1 to May 31 and from September 16 to October 30.

In the past, these spring and autumn periods were shorter and the entrance fee was € 5, but the situation shows that the warm period of the year has been extended. More and more tourists come to the resort out of season, so it is necessary to take this into account and encourage travel by alternative means of transport or in cooperation with friends and family so that they come in a single car.

The amount of the summer season toll for a tourism remains the same at € 30, only extending its application period; now it will run from June 1 to September 15. And a fee of 5 euros will be applied from November 1 to April 30.

The amount of the local toll for cars towing a caravan is also changing. It is set in the same way as for the vehicle group “home by car”. This amendment seeks to treat taxpayers who enter Neringa with cars intended for living (campers) and stay at the camp in the same way.

Another adjustment refers to the entrance of the disabled: people with reduced mobility who bear the SV mark on their vehicle registration certificate, which means that the car is operated manually, will be exempted from the local toll. The purpose of this amendment is to clearly identify the special purpose vehicle so that tellers at the checkpoint have no doubts about the local toll exemption.

As 15min has already written, on Thursday the city council increased the quads and tricycles fare a hundred times. You will have to pay 500 euros to bring said vehicle. That decision was made after noticing that ATVs were destroying the sensitive forest floor of the Curonian Spit.
