The Department of Statistics considers that a person declared sick has a confirmed case and the end of the disease has not been confirmed by a doctor. A statistically ill person is one for whom illness has been confirmed in the last 28 days. After this period, the person is considered statistically healthy.
Nine people died in hospitals during the day. Four individuals were in the age group 70 to 79 years and five in the age group 80 to 89 years. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,244 people have died from COVID-19.
Last day 4,827 molecular tests (PCR) were carried out in the country on suspicion of coronavirus, of which 7 percent were positive.
534 cases were epidemiologically examined on the last day. Due to the risk exposure, 753 people were isolated per day. In total, there are currently 28,422 people in self-isolation.

The proportion of positive diagnostic tests in the past seven days is 7 percent. Compared to last week’s average, the number of positive test results increased by 9.3 percent.
