Eleven basketball players participated in this year’s Betsafe sniper competition. Four reached the semifinals: Lukas Uleckas, E. Šaulys, Marius Runkauskas and A. Goudelockas.
In the semi-finals, L. Uleckas and M. Runkauskas each scored 15 points, E. Šaulys reached the final with 16 points and A. Goudelock showed impressive precision: 24 points.
Kaunas “Žalgiris” was represented in the competition by Artūras Milaknis, who did not cross the quarter-final barrier. Žalgirietis scored 11 points and recorded the worst result along with Domantas Vilis.
Utena Juventus was represented by the three-time champion of the competition M. Runkauskas. Marius Valinskas for Panevėžys Lietkabelis. Brankas Mirkovičius became the representative of Pasvalys’ Milk Stars.
Prienai CBet striker Mindaugas Sušinskas became the top participant in the competition.
The representative of Alytus “Dzūkija” was Tadas Rinkūnas, the colors of “Šiauliai” were defended among the best pitchers by Elvaras Fridriksson.
The sniper competition took place on February 14, before the final Citadele KMT match. Žalgiris and Lietkabelis will fight for the winners’ trophy in Panevėžys.
