The Seimas elections in Utena did not go smoothly. On election night, when it became clear that the leader of the Social Democrats Gintautas Paluckas and the conservative candidate E. Pupinis had obtained 7,075 votes, they were counted twice more.
The Lithuanian Social Democratic Party had caused a scandal because in the uninominal constituency of Utena the vote counting was organized by the president of the commission R. Gudynienė, who also works as an assistant to E. Pupinis, but assured him that he had withdrawn from the vote counting. After two new calculations, E.Pupinis was declared the winner.
E.Pupinis: began to terrorize
It’s been a week and a half since the winner was announced, and it’s still hot in Utena. Deputy E. Pupinis assures that his assistant is being persecuted in the area controlled by the Social Democrats.

Pupinis and when he works in the museum, as well as when he worked in the electoral commission.
R. Gudynienė works as a museologist in this museum.
According to E. Pupinis, during the electoral period his assistant worked in the electoral commission according to the agreed schedule.
“As far as I know, it has been resolved as needed, but maybe there were some short-term ones when it comes to going out for a short time if there is a problem,” he said.
By the way, the deputy member of the Seimas R. Gudynienė works part-time also according to the agreed schedule.
The Seimas member assured that the museum’s director, Jovita Nalevaikienė, was working recently and that her assistant was working with her assistant.

J.Nalevaikienė added that he had data that E.Pupinis’s assistant was not working at the time she was supposed to be in the museum.
