The NBA has announced that injured Phoenix Suns defender Devin Booker will be replaced by Utah Jazz player Mike Conley in the All-Star game.

Points are earned this season

Due to the outstretched left leg, Booker will also not participate in the three-point contest.

Conley made it into NBA history, becoming the first basketball player in league history to be invited to an all-star game for the first time in season 14 or later.

Before that, Kyle Korver, Tyson Chandler and Vlade Divac all stood out, entering the All-Star game for the first time in the league in season 12.

Conley, 33, has stats of 16.1 points and 5.7 assists this season. Outside the three-point zone, he attacked with greater precision in his career (42.2 percent).

Conley will also replace Booker in the three-point contest.

In all, three Utah Jazz basketball players will play in the All-Star game: Conley, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.

Booker was only included in the All-Star game after it became clear that Anthony Davis would not be able to play due to injury.
