The cafe is divided into two parts: visitors can choose to sit at a table on the outdoor terrace, or pay 5 euros and travel to the spacious hall, where a musical performance takes place that night.

On July 16, the Kraft group gave a concert to a large audience of Šventoji visitors. Admittedly, even before the concert, the audience was “warmed up” by the event host, who made no effort to provide a good reception. “Sweep those who are from Panevėžys”, “Raise your hands to those who are from Vilnius” – these and other similar tasks flew to the audience to hear the concert.
The Kraft band, who gave a concert in “Paršelis roju”, started the evening with well-known Lithuanian songs. When the second song “Attack Next” started playing, the audience unexpectedly rose from the tables and rushed to dance in the middle of the hall.
Visit the “piglet’s paradise” every year
On Thursday night at “Piglet’s Paradise”, most of the tables were occupied, although there was no line at the entrance.
Most families with children went to the café, which is considered Šventoji’s pride; The latter also danced to the music that was played that night. It is true that in “Piglet’s Paradise” there is a separate space for children.
The collectors’ age range is wide, from youngsters looking for nighttime fun to older adults who have been coming to Šventoji more than once.
Janina, a visitor to “Piglet’s Paradise”, who came to Šventoji from Šiauliai, says that she visits here every year to eat and have fun: “I have been coming to this spa for the eighth year in a row; I am very happy to have discovered this city. We used to going to Latvia with my husband, but we thought it was good for us in Lithuania too. ”
Why are you coming to Piglet Paradise? “There is a very good atmosphere in this place: we really like the piglets that are standing at the entrance, this year the granddaughter has taken photos with them several times.” We also really like the cuisine of this café, and people watching is very good. It seems like our like-minded people and my husband are coming here, ”says Janina.
Delphi He also spoke to a group of four Kaunas friends: three boys and one girl. “We are on vacation in Šventoji for the first year, but we already know that this summer is not the last in this city. We don’t like Palanga, all the entertainment there is more expensive than here.”
Do you like Piglet’s Paradise? “The parents of one of us recommended coming here, they said, be sure to go try the brand name steak. The coffee kitchen is really good, now we are waiting for the concert to start,” the company of friends shares new impressions.

Gintautas Rekašius, the cafe manager, reveals what kind of audience gathers at “Piglet’s Paradise”: “Most of the visitors are Lithuanian. Šventoji represents the people of Lithuania, therefore few foreigners visit our cafe. When the host of the night asks people where they came from, it turns out that most of the participants are from Vilnius, Kaunas, Švenčionys, Šakiai, Šilutė. I did not hear that there were representatives of foreign countries in the audience. ”The man adds that age visitors is different: families with children, the elderly and young.
“Since the ‘Piglet Paradise’ is 30 years old, children come to the café from those visitors who visited here when they were little,” says G. Rekašius.
Piglet’s paradise
“Piglet’s paradise is not a restaurant, but a club in a good mood,” explains the interlocutor. According to G. Rekašius, the concept of a good mood club prevents incidents that should be called to the police: “We try in every way to avoid inconvenience. This season, the police have not yet been to the “Piglet Paradise”.
G. Rekašius, as manager of “Piglet’s Paradise”, offers to try a dish that has already disappeared in most restaurants: a pork leg.
