“Yesterday there was a meeting of the party’s board of directors, whose main objective was to consider whether we support such a proposed formula from the coalition partners, divided ministers and other positions. The party board agreed.
Therefore, we do not have any significant disagreement regarding the distribution of positions, “V. Čmilytė-Nielsen told LRT radio.

Asked if this agreement could change, the leader of the Liberal Movement emphasized the “informal” reasons that could lead to a possible different distribution of positions.

“The negotiations are not over yet, they may not even have been halved. We will likely meet today and in the next few days. So (negotiations – ELTA) are still ongoing and I would not like to anticipate events. As The prime minister candidate Ingrida Šimonytė mentioned, less formal criteria such as coefficients will be taken into account. Thus, not only arithmetic will determine the final distribution, but also the competencies of the proposed people, “he added.

Conservative partners in the new ruling coalition, the Liberal Movement and the Freedom Party, approved quota portfolios for ministers on Tuesday. The ruling coalition partners intend to continue negotiations this week. The first session of the new Seimas will be held on November 13.
