On Thursday, 30-32 degree heat will cover many parts of southern, eastern and central Lithuania. In Samogitia, the heat of the day will be dampened by clouds and short, sometimes heavy rains. The temperature here will reach 27-29 degrees of heat. There will be a cooler medium wind from mainly western winds, but strong gusts of wind can also occur in some places during thunderstorms. You can touch briefly and on our seashore, it will be about 25-26 degrees heat.
Rain clouds are unlikely to penetrate to the east of the country and will be blocked by an anticyclone that has swept across Russia. There will be few clouds in this part of Lithuania. The wind will blow from the southeast. It is expected to reach 31 degrees in the capital and up to 32 degrees in Kaunas.
Friday night will be a bit refreshing. Temperatures in many places will be around 20-22 degrees, only in the far eastern areas it will be a bit cooler, around 18 degrees hot. Rain clouds in the west of the country will gradually fade. Unless at the beginning of the night, the places can still touch briefly but already lightly.
During the day, the southeast wind will blow thicker clouds further west, above the sea. Therefore, the rain may not accumulate yet. And the heat will spread throughout the country. The temperature will rise to 30-34 degrees.
Thunderstorms are expected again on Saturday on the western side of the country, with slightly lower temperatures.
