The Belarusian opposition candidate has a negative opinion of Russia’s support for the current regime in Belarus.
“I call on the leaders of all countries, including Russia and neighboring countries, to respect the sovereignty of our nation and to understand that our independence is not being sold (…) And I do not think it is correct on the part of Russia try to influence the people of Belarus in any way. They have to understand that only Belarusians have the right to decide how to solve this problem, “said S. Cichanouskaya.
“We are not going to end any relationship with Russia, but interfering in our internal affairs is, of course, unacceptable,” Cichanouskaya said.
