Chinese vaccines await approval after vaccination begins in Europe: pre-registration reveals possible cost of vaccination

In China, meanwhile, as Mindaugas Skrupskel, an architect living in Shanghai, said, five different vaccines are being prepared for approval and mass production. And so far, vaccination programs only provide vaccination opportunities for people at high risk and those working in key sectors.

“So in short, you are happier because China is a little behind in this case, vaccination will start here later and no one is talking about a free vaccine,” Skrupskel wrote in a Facebook account on the social network on Monday.

Vaccines are being prepared for approval

“In the middle of the month, China announced that five different vaccines were being prepared in the third stage of testing for approval and mass production. Pre-registration in some provinces revealed that the cost of the vaccine dose will be 200 yen. The vaccine requires two doses with an interval of 2-4 weeks, together with the vaccination service, the total cost of the vaccine should be ¥ 456 which is approximately € 57.

Studies show that the leading vaccine in SINOPHARM has an 86% efficacy rate. His serum antibody is successfully converted in 99% of cases. The vaccine 100% ensures that mild disease does not progress to moderate to severe disease stages and does not have serious side effects. It is unknown how long immunity develops, it is estimated that between 1 and 3 years. In total, more than a million people have already been vaccinated in China, ”shared the architect.

According to him, published vaccination programs provide vaccination opportunities only for people in high-risk groups and those working in key sectors. Ordinary people in China will not yet be able to get vaccinated. Therefore, M. Skrupskelis was surprised that when vaccination began in Lithuania, he received messages about the pressure to get vaccinated.

“I find funny messages like ‘we’re under a lot of pressure to vaccinate everyone.’ It would be foolish not to succumb to such pressure. <..> Ordinary civilians like me won’t be able to get that vaccine, not even for a lot of money (in China, automatic pasta), that’s the “pressure”. Rather, we are already pushing for that protection as soon as possible and ending a year-long nightmare, “he told the social network.

The situation is freer

According to the Shanghai-based architect, Christmas was greeted in Shanghai without masks, and the situation there was incomparably freer than in Lithuania, although there was never a complete respite. Skrupskel argued that perhaps this is why the second wave in Shanghai did not increase.

“The masks were mandatory in public places throughout the year, people tracking and the QR code system never expired. China’s borders have been closed all the time, as it was clear from the beginning that the virus is constantly re-imported. As a result, only people who have demonstrated the need to cross the border and who have tested negative in two virus tests in the last 48 hours are admitted. There is a two-week quarantine on arrival. Thus, almost no there were import cases left. And anyway, anywhere in China, you get a squirt of hand sanitizer in the palm of your hand when you get on a plane, because nobody cares about the perfection of your washing technique.
There were reports of a new access point here and there, but it was also followed by news of local block / district isolation, contact tracing and massive testing, ”he said.

At the same time, a man living in China urged Lithuanians to get vaccinated because, according to him, vaccination is also an insurance policy against the games of Lithuanian politicians.

“I have deliberations and I do not renounce the sadness for what is happening in my land. Paradoxically, in democratic countries, the government seems to be punished for mismanagement, but it seems to me that Lithuania has been the hardest hit by the Seimas elections. The second rising wave was already evident at the time, but when the peasants left, they decided to defeat the Conservatives after the tsunami. And in any case, painting everyone “nazlo” who participated in the elections themselves. So that we wouldn’t punish the peasants, but they punished us. And the saddest thing is that they will never feel responsible for this heinous crime. Many deaths could have been prevented, but we can already predict that their number in Lithuania will exceed 2,000.

The vaccine is a rescue response to this crisis and an insurance policy against the games of politicians. Don’t give in to pressure to lose lives, “shares M. Skrupskelis.
