Chimki’s Euroleague in the Moscow region, which is experiencing financial difficulties, has imposed sanctions that will prevent the Russian team from registering new players.

Colones are launched this season

The report indicates that a complaint has been received from the Euroleague Players Association (EFTA) for non-payment of salaries. For this reason, the Control Commission has forwarded this complaint to the Finance Department, which will examine it shortly.

The case must be investigated within 30 days, during which Chimki will not be able to register new basketball players.

February 4 tThe RIA Novosti website reported that Chimki’s basketball players have not been paid for two months.

At that time, Jonas Jerebko left the Russian club at the end of January. In communication with the Swedish media, he revealed that Chimki still owes him hundreds of thousands of euros, but that he is not worried about where he will play in the future: Jerebko plans to get the money back with the help of an agent.

On Tuesday, there were reports that Chimki was attracting former CSKA Moscow forward Andrei Voroncevic into his ranks.
