According to the Mayor of Vilnius City, R. Šimašius, Vilnius plans to present an unprecedented ecological program in the near future, which will be curated by a new member of the team.
“Vilnius is already planting record amounts of greenery, the number of green projects in cooperation with companies is increasing, and citizens are actively involved in creating a greener Vilnius.
We are going to reach unprecedented volumes in the coming planting seasons, which is why we have been looking for a reinforcement in this area for some time. Kristinas has a lot of experience in project management, community mobilization, excellent management skills, which will certainly help to smoothly implement our ambitious program, ”says R. Šimašius.
Most recently, K. Taukačikas worked as a marketing director for an electric bus company in Lithuania. Previously, he has run various communication agencies for more than a decade. “All of us Vilnius residents want to live in a beautiful green city.
I am happy that from now on we have new opportunities to contribute to the green wave that rises in thousands of courtyards in the capital, in thousands of kilometers of streets in the capital ”, says K. Taukačikas.
