According to the Alytus police representative, on Friday 6 people were detained on the territory of the Marijampolė municipality, when the officers stopped the minibus with Estonian state numbers for inspection.
Another 4 people were detained in cars with German and French state registration.
According to K. Janulevičienė, these vehicles were driven by people with permits in foreign countries, whose country of origin often coincides with the country of origin of the people who left the camps illegally.
There have been cases in which said expulsion of illegal immigrants has been carried out by their relatives from the aforementioned European Union countries, who have residence permits in those countries.
However, according to V. Pranskevičius, another trend is observed: the cars in which illegal immigrants were detained during the weekend went to and from Lithuania more than once during the mentioned weekend.

Both the fugitives from the camp and the guides who transported them were arrested and locked up in the Alien Registration Center in Pabradė (Švenčionys district).
