According to Vaida Budrienė, communications manager at Iki, lower prices are being presented for preventive measures in light of the next second wave of the pandemic.
“The growing number of infected people in the country is of great concern to all. For this reason, our goal is to create the most favorable conditions for “Iki” customers to acquire the necessary safety equipment: masks, disinfectant liquids, gloves. We believe that one of the lowest prices in the retail market will increase the availability of these products for everyone, ”says V. Budrienė.
Disposable medical mask container (50 pcs.) In “Iki” stores it costs 9.99 EUR, KN95 respirator – 2.99 EUR, disposable vinyl glove container (100 pcs.) – 7.99 EUR, disinfectant liquid for hands (1 l) – 2.99 euros

Instead of the usual non-contact disinfectant devices
Iki also reports that contactless sanitizing equipment is delivered to stores. They will help avoid unnecessary contacts, according to the network communication chief.
“Wearing a mask, avoiding social contact, and constantly disinfecting hands and surfaces are the tools that help fight the spread of a pandemic. Non-contact disinfectants in this context are a means of minimizing the potential risk of infection. Customer safety during shopping is our top priority, ”says V. Budrienė.
All Iki stores have implemented comprehensive measures to ensure safety: organic glass partitions are installed in the checkouts, the recommended safety distance is marked on the checkouts, surfaces are periodically disinfected, shopping baskets and trolleys are installed. Nose and mouth protection is mandatory in stores, customers are encouraged to wear disposable gloves when shopping, and dispensers with disinfectant are installed.
