On 12 September, on the Kupiškis-Utena road, near the Šepeta settlement, a BMW, driven by a man born in 1986, collided with a Ford Galaxy, driven by a woman born in 2003 who had no right to drive.
According to Tadas Martinaitis, chief specialist of the communications subdivision of the Panevėžys County Police Station, both cars were driving on the main road and the driver of the Ford Galaxy, turning left, did not miss the car he was driving. It was going in the opposite direction.
Both drivers were sober. Two young children were also sitting in a Ford Galaxy car during the accident. The cubs did not suffer. The minor driver also avoided injuries.
The BMW driver was also injured in the accident. Later, a BMW passenger approached doctors for chest pain. Had a fixed sternum
fracture.
The incident is under investigation.
The editorial was outraged by the residents of Šepeta, who assured that the driver of the Ford Galaxy car, taking advantage of the accident, announces on the social network that he has been injured and asks to donate money.
The woman, who called the newsroom on Tuesday morning, said it was the initiative of empathetic mothers on social networks to help the road user with the children, and the driver herself did not ask for a donation.
