22 authors applied for 6 seats on the Council, most of them composers of serious and popular music. Musical author Raminta Naujanytė-Bjelle received the most votes. Film director Donatas Ulvydas, music authors Leonas Somovas, Laurynas Šarkinas, Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano and Gintaras Zdebskis also joined the Council.

After knowing the results of the elections and taking the stage, R. Naujanytė-Bjelle thanked the participants for their trust: “I am very happy and at the same time I feel a great responsibility. I represent the broad context of the authors and I am committed to the questions of each author ”.
At the end of the electoral passions, all the assembled authors were invited to symbolically celebrate the organization’s 30th anniversary, and 10 authors received the LATGA “Ad Astra” badges of honor created by the jeweler Sigitas Virpilaitis to glorify the name of Lithuania. Nominees for the award were selected by the outgoing council, according to a press release.
Tonight’s first Ad Astra award went to photographer Antanas Sutkus. He couldn’t come himself, the award was taken from him by his wife Rima Sutkienė. The second is the artist Stasys Eidrigevičius, who lives in Poland, and thanked him for the award in the uploaded video.
The award was withdrawn from the LATGA Association president by the poet, translator Vladas Braziūnas, and his colleague Donaldas Kajokas was unable to attend the event to collect the award.
Theater director Oskaras Koršunovas, who attended the event, thanked the award and was pleased that “there are authors, they have rights and there is someone who protects them.” The second prize in the field of drama went to the director Rimas Tuminis, it was collected by the director’s daughter, the director Gabrielė Tuminaitė.
An Ad Astra award went to director Arūnas Matelis, who will henceforth be one of the members of the Council. The second went to Šarūnas Bartas, for which producer Jurga Dikčiuvienė received the award.
After the award, two composers, Bronius Kutavičius and Žibuoklė Martinaitytė, also shared the award.
