“The second measure is subsidies for those most affected. The subsidies are now distributed to anyone whose turnover has fallen by at least 30% as a result of the pandemic. We want to reduce the circle of recipients in the second package to reach those most affected. We know that the catering, tourism and events industries are experiencing the most. For those whose turnover is 60 percent. and they fell more, we are planning the second stage of subsidies ”, pointed out A. Armonaitė.

He stressed that these measures are a project, it has not yet been approved by the Government.

On Monday, the minister presented research compensation aid to small and medium-sized enterprises and market tax compensation measures.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation will allocate 30 million. for small and medium-sized businesses to test for coronavirus. The company will be partially reimbursed for the cost of rapid examinations and tests performed on healthcare workers. The reimbursement will be € 12 for a rapid serological antibody test and € 12 for a rapid antigen test.

Market tax compensation will also be provided to market traders affected by the quarantine. Its amount is 300 euros.
