This is one of the main axes connecting the western part of the city, where it dominates the construction of residential buildings in multiple apartments (Fabijoniškės, Šeškinė, Viršuliškės, Justiniškės districts), with the eastern part of the city.

In accordance with the solutions of the General Plan of the city of Vilnius, Ozo street is assigned to category B. Its main function is to provide communication between the functional areas of the city, the districts, the centers, the main transport stations and connections to suburban roads.
