Until Thursday night’s game, Chimki’s biggest Euroleague failure was recorded 12 years ago, when he lost 66: 101 to the Panathinaikos basketball team in Athens in 2009.

In Istanbul, everything was clear from the beginning. Anadolu Efes, with a 16-point lead, increased another 13 points in the third quarter to lead 75:46. The last whistle of the referees announced the victory of the Turkish club 99:60.

In Thursday night’s game, Jordan Mickey, who scored 14 points, scored the most points for the Russian capital club, scoring 13 points, but leader Alexei Švedas recorded just 5 utility points.

In Stambu’s team “Anadolu Efes”, which demonstrated team play, Sercanas Snali scored the most points – 19, on Shane Larkin’s count – 15.

In Anadolu Efes’ team, which demonstrated a dominant attack, six players scored double-digit utility points.

Chimki, who didn’t have three players, scored just 46 utility points on the guests, while the hosts, 130.

“Kuralgiris” (102: 75) beat R. Kurtinaitis’s students by 27 points in Kaunas last week, and the same team from “Anadolu Efes” won in the first round of the Euroleague, when the performance in Moscow ended with the victory of Ergin Ataman’s students 105: 77.

12 consecutive defeats – the modern Euroleague anti-record, counted since 2016, belongs to the Istanbul clubs “Daruššafaka” and Kazan UNIKS.

Chimki is also fast approaching the EuroLeague all-time anti-record, which belongs to the London Towers and Bamberg Brose Basket teams, whose basketball players have left the field twelve times in a row.

In front of Rimas Kurtinaitis, a former Panathinaikos player who has replaced team Jerusalem Hapoel on the combination board at the Greek club, and now coach Oded Kattash, will sit alongside the band.
