Last day, immigrants from Belarus were not admitted to the Ignalina, Šalčininkai and Vilnius districts. About half of the 20 or so foreigners planned to enter Lithuania through the border section in the Ignalina district.

Two migrants tried to illegally damage the border near the Vilnius district on Monday afternoon and were not allowed to enter Lithuania. One man calmly returned to the depths of Belarus, the other showed his discontent from the Belarusian side by throwing three stones one at a time across the border. He did not hit the border guards and then went deep into Belarus.

Before midnight Monday to Tuesday, three signal rockets were fired at the border on the Belarusian side near the Salcininkai district.

The use of service weapons, special measures or physical coercion by Lithuanian border guards and the soldiers helping them was lost last day. Border control on the Lithuanian side is carried out under a reinforced regime.

Vilnius accuses the Minsk regime of organizing migration flows and calls it hybrid aggression. As a result, a state of emergency has been declared in the country.
