Conservative consumers, complaining about censorship on other social networks, have joined the Parler social network in droves.
The popularity of this gadget has grown especially in recent months. After the Capitol riots, the much larger social network Twitter permanently deleted the account of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, and on Saturday, Parler boasted of the first place in Apple’s mobile app store.
Parler began broadcasting messages in support of the rioters who had invaded the Capitol and called for further demonstrations. This has led Google to remove this gadget from its Google Play platform.
It was also removed from the Apple App Store on Saturday.
At that time, Amazon will no longer provide Parler’s cloud computing services, claiming that the social network is too slow to respond to violent messages on it, in violation of Amazon’s terms of service.
John Matz, founder of Parler, confirmed that the social network may not be available for the entire week until a new provider of cloud computing services is found.
