Police reported that on August 22, around 2 p.m., on the Antakalnis-Jieznas-Alytus-Merkinė highway, driving towards Jieznas, near the town of Vėžionys, unknown men, stopping a Volvo truck with a semi-trailer driven by a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, hijacked the semi-trailer and the cargo of metal it contains.
During the pre-trial investigation, a semi-trailer with its cargo was found in the Prienai district.
