Veryga said Tuesday that the plight of the coronavirus in the capital was also determined by the Vilnius authorities’ decision to reject the recommendation to limit the opening hours of bars, cafes and nightclubs.
“This is a municipality that is constantly looking for ways to circumvent the requirements and recommendations, and then it sees that the situation is bad, it attacks to blame the ministry,” he said.
“I perfectly remember the declarations of the director of the administration that here we must not limit anything and that the measures must be applied with great precision. This is now the result of so-called precision measurements, ”said A. Veryga.
“I have to go to work early in the morning and I could see perfectly well what was happening near the discos, where people were divided, there was no allusion to the established requirements and it couldn’t be.
