One might think that the rains that turned the streets into rivers in June will no longer be the same in late July. However, according to T. Kaunienė, the strength of a storm mainly depends on which air masses collide, where the vortex travels, how much water it transports, where it moves, and this is not related to specific months at all.

Heavy rains, according to the weather forecast, could explode in May and September: “It does not depend on the calendar.”

Heavy rains in Poland. However, this air mass, according to the weather forecast, does not come from the neighboring country, but moves from the west, from the northwest, from the North Atlantic or Scandinavia.

So far, the tropical air mass prevails, but tonight the cold front will hit the shoreline, and when it begins to move through Lithuania it will displace tropical air.

“The predominant climate now is not typical of our latitudes. The cold front will restore the opportunity to enjoy the typical climate of our region, “said the weather forecaster, adding that people are not used to that heat, they find it difficult to bear it. After an extremely hot Monday, when in some places the temperature approaches 30 degrees, a cooler climate arrives in the country and with it the rain.

In the afternoon and afternoon hours today, it is forecast that in many parts of the country there will be brief summer rains, and in some places and not again, which will be accompanied by thunderstorms, in some places hail may appear and wind gains are expected.

The heat and suffocating fury will disappear
