The afternoon race started in an unusual way. Giedrius Titenis and Andrius Šidlauskas he joined the duel and repeated yesterday’s 100-meter breaststroke. Andrius Šidlauskas (28.82) became the Lithuanian champion again in the men’s “A” final. The silver went to Mantas Lisauskas (29.17) and the bronze to Giedrius Titenis (29.26).
The 100m freestyle “A” final was dominated by youth. Here, the gold went to Smilte Plytnykaitė (57.86), who had won the second part of the distance. Marija Romanovskaja (58.18) became the runner-up and Silvija Statkevičius (58.75) took third place.
In the men’s “A” final, he defended the title of champion Simon Bill. The Panevėžys resident covered the distance in 49.16 seconds. The night swim was completed with the 4 x 100m freestyle team relay.
